National interest rates are not coming back though – at least not unless there is some humongous crisis which would make all the other problems fade in comparison. In the meantime, we are left with those problems. Thorny ones they are too.
For the moment, the big one is property. There is just no getting away from property, especially housing. The Irish obsession is well documented, but it is understandable to be obsessed with something which has been so unstable – both in price and quantity – so often.
